The Sugarless Chocolate Cake

Ever since my family went on a no-sugar diet, my friends have been asking me questions concerning my sugarless lifestyle.

The most popular questions being: "How on Earth do you do it?" and "How are you not crazy yet?".

Well, I've never really had a deep emotional connection with sugar, so it wasn't hard for me to withdraw from it.

Also, I am not completely missing out on sweetness. We make sweets too, except we don't use sugar but stevia, it tastes exactly like sugar...but completely different.

One of the desserts my mom bakes is the Sugarless Chocolate Cake, which a friend of mine had called a "big fat plate of empty promises".

The chocolate cake looks like a regular chocolate cake, but when you finally get it into your mouth expecting pure chocolate delight you will be met with a bitter taste. Your hopes and dreams will diminish and you would want to cry. As what my friend had done.

But honestly, the cake isn't THAT bad at all. It's actually really good once you get over the fact that it isn't sweet. Once you do, you will realize that it is what dreams are made of.

That's all!

OH SUGAR

I cannot eat sugar. My whole family went on a no-sugar diet in the beginning of the year and we haven't had sugar ever since. (Okay fine, maybe there was this one time on my birthday...and my sister's birthday....and my mom's birthday....BUT THAT'S DIFFERENT). Let me clarify that we aren't exactly 100% against sugar per se. We still take in sugar but from fruits. Even though those things have sugar, it's not exactly completely empty; you can still gain benefits from it.

We went on this weird diet when this study came out about how your body doesn't need sugar at all. It's all very long and scientific and I don't really feel like explaining the entire thing.

But basically:

I never had a sugar problem so withdrawing from sugar wasn't too hard, but sometimes, situations are cruel.
When I was hanging out with some friends at a mall, we passed by the most beautiful pastries at a "bakery avenue" or something...and from that moment, I knew how it was like to suffer. The smell of the pastries floated in the air....so beautiful :') and the aesthetics were art :')....so much beauty. (I would draw these pastries, but I would probably suck at capturing their wonderful delectable-ness.).
For the rest of "bakery avenue" or something I had to race walk before unearthly forces took over my body and made me eat those pastries.

Here is a chart thingy of things that I cannot eat if I want to live:

the wonders of MS paint that I have yet to unfold

I can't sleep. So I will write.

I really like MS Paint. It's great. It's the only good thing that not-having-internet has done for me; giving me the chance to unfold the wonders of this simple yet endearing drawing program that has inspired many web comics that can be found on Tumblr centering on emo culture and sheer negativity. (I need to use words like that because I might cite this blog on my resume as "writing experience" and I need to sound fancy.)

In this unearthly hour, I will share with you this drawing that I have created at 12AM recovering from a Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen parody video that I will not link bc I care about you.

I spent about 10 minutes creating this but it was all worth it. Idk I just find my creation pretty. (I AM ALLOWED TO DO THAT H8TERS! GEEZ!)
